what defines you?i've got people seeing chick flicks and immediately say "that's so shannon!" eg. Aquamarine (below)  or maybe "rainbow! that's what shannon likes!"  but i don't want to just be defined as that i want to also be known as someone who loves God  someone who will go all out for God, despite barriers  i want to live like there's no other things that can replace Jesus in my heart.

     i've been wanting to blog for a really long time but everyday i'm too busy &tired to so..yeap here's a post! mission trip was AWEEEEEEESOMEEEEE (as you can see from the pictures above) :):):) i have a testimony i would like to share from chengdu mission trip! however, some names would be replaced with person A blabla :D From before mission trip to the approaching of the people in Cheng Du to sharing Christ, every single thing was definitely with God. Because i know myself, and if weren't for God, i would not be able to do what i've done. The first 2 days, i've gotta admit that i didn't really do much talking because i was very much in fear. But i knew that i had to do something, i cannot just let this mission trip pass just like that. I wanted God to work through me (i mean, that is what i went to mission trip for!), i was willing, i was ready. On wednesday, when Zhong Hua, Yi Ning and myself invited Person A and Person B to the church office to share Christ to them was when a breakthrough occurred. Although Zhong Hua was mostly sharing the lesson 1 of new life, there was a point where the Holy Spirit prompted me to say something because that would answer their question and Zhong Hua wasn't saying it. &I did! I also shared my testimony awhile after that. Initially i also specified to them that i would share my testimony in english and they didn't have any objections cause they know abit of english too. So i started out saying engligh-chinese, english-chinese. as i went on and on, i begin to find myself speaking chinese only! IT WAS CERTAINLY THE HOLY SPIRIT. Of course it wasnt easy, my heart thumping really hard &fast, but i still obeyed. &because of that, a miracle happened. Another highlight was during thursday. When we invited our friends over. After Sis Wan Ping shared, and we were supposed to break into our groups, i was with Person C. Zhong Hua told us to pray for our friends and then share with them. Well, this time its 1 step further because on wed, there is still Zhong Hua or Yi Ning there. but now, i'm on my own to pray for her! &i know myself i can easily ask someone else to help me, but i know that by doing that, i will be limiting God. i just felt that i really need to pray for her. &so i started, halfway through the prayer, i heard sobbing. At that moment i knew something in her was stirring, i knew God was working. :) After the prayer, i shared with her about Jesus. Although throughout the whole time i did ask YiNing and Sis Wan Ping to help me, i knew i've already allowed the Holy Spirit to work through me. i really thank God and everyone in this mission trip team. i LOVE this mission trip. Not only cause God worked through me, but people in the mission trip team were also very encouraging. Last but not least, i would like to say, if you were to ask me if i'm willing to go back to chengdu for another mission trip, i woud be more than happy too :):):) all glory goes to God, for all He's done! alright! do take up sometime to read it! :D soooo looking forward to go back there :D Monday, October 4, 2010
+Results.jpg) HERE IT IS! the most shocking one is chemical engineering cause, i've been getting a D all along, then suddenly got B! HHAHAHAHA :D welllll, my results ain't that great, but i did try hard! so, i'm still going to thank God :) thankYou, God! :D
